 Can Please tell me y proxies do this what is the purpose behind.  I mean why a proxy whould request a response or Method to traverse through it ??

  These are inserted by proxies, 

  Record Route is used by proxies to make sure that they would be included in the future messages / requests  of a dialog / call.

  Route header is used to provide the information / instructions to further route the call.
  Also specify weather that would be loose or strict.

  Please follow 3261 for more details,
