Hi All,,

I have some questions about Record-Route and Route Set.

1. In RFC3261, 12.2 Requests within a Dialog, it says:

Requests within a dialog MAY contain Record-Route and Contact headerfields. However, these requests do not cause the dialog’s route setto be modified, although they may modify the remote target URI.

2. In RFC3261, 12.1 Creation of a Dialog, it says:

Dialogs are created through the generation of non-failure responsesto requests with specific methods. Within this specification, only2xx and 101-199 responses with a To tag, where the request wasINVITE, will establish a dialog. A dialog established by a non-finalresponse to a request is in the "early" state and it is called anearly dialog.

Does it mean if a Dialog is in early state which is established with 180 with To tag, the dialog's route cannot be modified by following 200 ok with SDP answer and othe following messages such as ACK?
Does it mean since 180 with To tag has established the dialog in early state, the next PRACK(if require 100rel) should be sent with Route Set which has been learned by Record-Route in 180 response.

Thanks.

Best,
Monica
