[SIPForum-discussion] questions about the SIP length and SIP-URI max-length

There is no maximum SIP message length (though transports sometimes
put a practical upper bound on it).
There is no maximum URI length.
There are mechanisms that let you complain if the message or URI you
are trying to process
is longer than you are willing to deal with (see, for example, the
414 response in 3261).
