[SIPForum-discussion] SIP - China: Applications in the Far East

What role does SIP play in China? I see that this Forum is an industry association with members from the leading IP communications companies, to advance the adoption and interoperability of IP communications products and services based on SIP.  Is it available in China for control of real-time multimedia communication throughout the Internet, corporate networks, and wireless networks.

Could a company in China use SIP to achieve high levels of product interoperability?  Please provide information on the benefits and capabilities of SIP, and highlight successful applications and deployments in the Far East.
