Hi,

c= line IS mandatory.
It MUST be present *either* in session level, *or* in *each* of the media
descriptions (m= line).
If present in session level, the network address ( and the family) is
inherited by each of the media descriptions in SDP.

The c= line MAY be present in both session level and media description, in
which case, the media description c= line overrides the session level c=
line.

Programmers can draw an analogy with object oriented languages like C++ or
Java.
Interface defined by the base class may be overridden by derived classes.
