Hi Mahdi,

Putting the T.38 media in the First INVITE will not solve the problem here.

Reasons for the party-B not sending Re-INVITE with T.38 is:

1.       There media gateway may not support the T.38 codec, in this case the fax will go over G.711

2.       Media gateway may support the T.38 codec, but there might be a problem in detecting the fax tone at media gateway side.

3.       There might be a problem with the gateway end while sending the Re-INVITE for T.38 on side-B.

Dear All,

I am facing a problem with initiating the re-INVITE for T.38 by the B party.
The A party INVITE is sent including both media G711A and T.38 and then an RTP media link (G711) is correctly established for audio,
But there is no re-INVITE for T.38 sent by the B Party.

What should be the problem?
Is putting the T38 media to inactive in the first INVITE a solution ?
