1.Q.How to find the DTMF option is accepting while making a call through sip
gateway ?
1.A.If you are querying a gateway with DTMF Features, an IN Gateway or a
Call Centre, doing functional testing for selection of DTMF characters by
far end with a functionality or test case being executed gives a proof of
DTMF option getting accepted.

2.Q.Is there any relation between codec and DTMF signaling?
2.A.Codec is a software segment written for Voice Transformations, Voice
Terminology mapping / translations, etc
While DTMF Signalling is multi-frequency based signalling close to R2
Signalling

3.Q.Will the DTMF will get reverse? i.e if we enter the digit 1234 will it
reply as 4321?
3.A.No, DTMF is a combination of two frequency sent for pressing a number
say 0, 8, etc. DTMF is not a rotational or translation functionality that
will get reverse like a reverse gear in a car or a rotational shaft of an
engine rotating clockwise or anti-clockwise for reversing the key
combinations. However, you can change the direction of torque in a shaft for
robotics programming by reversing DTMF by suitable software mappings /
programming.
