could you please send the  ethereal  trace for call when are u getting 487 request terminating.

this error code generally come when UAC sending the cancel request. there are many reason for that.

1. your proxy or server not able to process the call
2. UAC wait for longer to get the response of the request
3. etc

if you send the ethereal trace then we are able to better answer for your error.

We were constantly monitoring ASR in our Trunk Groups and found that ASR [Answer Seizure Ratio] is extremely small in SIP Trunk Group between ZTE ZXC10 GMSC and Huawei MSOFTX3000 MSC.

We took trace on SIP Trunk Group for 20 mins and analyzed the failure codes.

We found striking results:

Out of 335 failures, 244 failures are from Failure Code 487

Network Doctors here please help to find out what is the exact problem in the network, so that I can fix it and can increase ASR in our SIP TGs....
