[SIPForum-discussion] how user agent knows that standby server isnow active?

Hi all,  

I think active and standby servers should share the same IP address via
HSRP or VRRP.
Subscribers should not know anything about redundancy or load sharing
scheme of their provider.
Active and Stanby server sharing the commong IP can synchronise call
state information also.
