Hello Dear

basic difference between loos routing and strict routing is following.

1. loose routing introdue in RFC 3261 and strict routing used in RFC 2543.
and right now we used both the routing.
2. if you have strict routing then always, proxy must use the first URI oin
the Route header field to rewrite the Request URI, But in case of loose
routing Reqest URI never rewirte with Route headers.
3. if a reqest containing three Route headers could only route to those
three proxies then to the end point- no deviation is allowedin strict
routing. but In a case of loose routing a request contaiong three loose
route headers must route throught those three proxies buth may also visit
other proxies as needed. also, a preloaded route header may be constructed
at the start of a dialog without first reciving a Record-Route header in
dialog setup.

Thanks
vijay
