[SIPForum-discussion] IP Phone sends REGISTER with the same Call-ID after power off -> 500 Out OF Order

Hello guys,

I found some IP Phones with the following behaviour:

- IP Phone is registered in the IMS network;
- IP Phone is switched off;
- IP Phone is switched on again;
- IP Phone sends REGISTER request with the same Call ID and CSeq <= compared
to the REGISTER sent before it was switched off;

This can cause an Out-Of Sequence response from the network.

Do you think this behaviour complies with RFC 3261?

Thank you
