[SIPForum-discussion] SIP & NS2

Hi,
I'm trying to install ns2 v 2.26 but I do not know which particular Linux distribution I should use (OS). actually I chose this version because I found SIP patch http://www.tti.unipa.it/~fasciana/materiale.htm  developed for this NS version.  Could anyone help me with this points please 
1. which Linux OS I should select.
2. Is there anyone try to install this version before to work with SIP. I need  some documentation about that if available.
