[SIPForum-discussion] How is SIP billed ?

Why not put account code or authorization codes assigned to different
extensions/stations thereby allowing you to track internal calls going
out.  You could then group people by what department they are in such as
accounting, engineering, or even by top talkers.  If they are making
toll calls then the use of an authorization code to access that trunk
would be needed and could be better tracked.

If you are making a call internally why would you want to bill it? Not
to challenge the logic so much. I am more interested in the logic
behind internal billing.
