In case of REGISTER, yes but I have seen INVITE with different R-URI
from TO. It happens at multiple scenario. one of them is.. If SIP
proxy/B2BUA is sitting on edge.

Subject: [SIPForum-discussion] Logical Recipient of REGISTER and INVITE

Hello,

When using SIP-URI formats, is the "logical recipient" in the
Request-URI and To-Header URI, always the same for REGISTER, and INVITE
methods?

By logical recipient, I mean, the domain portion of the following:
"sip:AoR at domain".

Best Regards,
Jerry
