As far as i'm aware this is implementation dependant and not actually specified in the RFC so no I don't think there is any way of forcing a device to include SDP in the response.

Subject: [SIPForum-discussion] How-to force SDP in 200OK response to OPTIONSrequest

Hello guys,

I have noticed that some devices reply to an OPTIONS request (same format as in rfc3261) with 200 OK+SDP and some others reply with 200OK (without SDP).
I would like to know if there is a way to force a device to reply to an OPTIONS request including SDP in the response.

Thank you very much,

Andrea
