[SIPForum-discussion] Request setMethod exception

Hi all,

I have implemented SipListener interface in my program. I want to call "void
processRequest(RequestEvent requestevent) method".
For this, i m creating RequestEvent object say reqEvent and also Request
object say req.
Now, when i setMethod using req.setMethod("INVITE"). It gives me a
nullPointer exception.

has anybody faced such problem before.  Plz send me a sample code which
works.
Actually, i m new to SIP.
plz help
