[SIPForum-discussion] INVITE without SDP(offer)

Hi all,
I am facing a very strange situation. The gateway that I am using for PSTN calls sends me an initial INVITE without SDP. I send out an offer in my 200 OK response with G.729 as the primary codec. The answer that I get in ACK from the gateway contains G.711 u law as the primary codec. What should my phone do, should it drop the call or establish a call by changing my codec to G.711 mu law.

My phone is currently rejecting the call with a BYE.

Please help me out..
