[SIPForum-discussion] Notify - Call transfer

Notify is send to convey the status of the call on the blind side, the status is send vi the sdp of the notify, i.e 100 trying, 180 Ringing, 200 ok, once 200 Ok. For each notify message need to have a body type message/sipfrag and a subscription-state header which will be active till 200 Ok is got and after that it expired.

Did you transfer (REFERed) the call to a
third party? If so then other party is trying that REFERed entity and
communicating the status from that third party to you through NOTIFY e.g., ‘100
trying’.

Hi All,
 
  In the notify message during call transfer I see Message Body containing SIP frag.
 
 This has 100 trying in it. Why do I see this in Notify message? Can someone explain please?
