[SIPForum-discussion] RTP Timestamp field

Hi All, 

We have a query regarding the Timestamp field of the RTP Header. 

RFC 1889 Sec 5.1 states that the initial value of the RTP time stamp should be random just like the Sequence number. However when the 32 bit field wraps around, does it continue from 0 or is another random number generated? How are out of order packets handled when a wrap around happens?
