[SIPForum-discussion] UAC´s register expires

Hi,

Registration is used for incoming calls. If registration expires during an
established call, then the call should keep going.

It’s just no one will be able to place a call to the expired registree after
expiration of its registration.

Of course, this is the theory, but there might be some systems out there
that choose to terminate a call if a registration expires. If it were the
case, it would just be a choice of implementation, nothing required by the
specifications.

Regards,

Herve
