Hi Arnab,

I don't think so. Media paths will always be between the two endpoints irrespective of route headers.

Thanks and regards,
Karthik

Subject: [SIPForum-discussion] Media flow in IMS

Hi All,

I have query regarding the media flow in IMS. Once the session is established in an IMS architecture (INVITE --> 200 OK --> ACK), does media flow will between the two end points directly (UE-originating and UE-terminating)? Or will it pass through the same set of P/I/S following Route header and so...?

Thanks,
Arnab
