[SIPForum-discussion] 403 Forbidden

Hi Rani,
I am not sure whether you are sending an authenticate invite to the server?? Does the proxy/ Switch needs the authentication information in the SIP invite header??

Its worth checking on this note..

I believe that  if that would be the case (no codec support), you would get 
a 415 "media not supported" instead. Seems more like and authorization 
problem to me.
