[SIPForum-discussion] Cisco 3640 and SIP

Hi all,
 
Can a cisco 3640 router ruinning IOS 12.4 act as a SIP proxy and send
calls received from WAN interface to LAN interface when it gets a 404 or
486 from the first first LAN interface? Or do you need an external SIP
proxy?
 
I see that there's a SIP-Server functionality in my 3640 but unsure what
it's for.
