[SIPForum-discussion] How can a proxy recognize an intruder?

Hi.

 

If  I'm an application (not a SIP one), but able to send SIP messages, can I
ask for a registration of my URL into a Registrar, by means of a SIP proxy
in a determined domain? That is, does the proxy accept this kind of request?

 

What I wonder is about the capacity of a proxy to recognize an intruder into
a SIP system.

If a proxy can recognize an intruder, how is it done?
