Dear SIPNOC 2024 Attendees,

Greetings!

By now, each of you should have received a welcome message from our mailing
list server informing you of your subscription to the "SIPNOC24-attendees"
event mailing list, with instructions on how to send messages and other
information related to your mailing list subscription. 

This mailing list will be used by the SIP Forum to keep you updated about
the SIPNOC 2024 agenda, special events, last-minute changes to the schedule
if and when they occur, special reminders, etc.

Please note that this list can also be used by you to propose topics for
discussion with other SIPNOC 2024 attendees, ideas for on-site "Birds of a
Feather" (BoF) meetings, and for other networking purposes. 

(Before you hit send, please remember that messages are distributed to ALL
conference attendees!)

SIPNOC 2024 Hotel Reservations

If you HAVE NOT reserved your room at the Hilton Washington Dulles hotel,
you should do so without delay! 

The deadline to take advantage of our room block discount has been extended
to Monday, September 9th to accommodate the high demand for rooms. 

Reservation requests made after this date will be based on room availability
at the hotel's prevailing rates. In other words, they'll be more expensive.

Important Booking Instructions: Please note that when you click the link
above, you will be taken to the main booking page. 

Please follow the steps below to book your hotel room:

1.	Once the page loads, click the "Book A Room" button
2.	A new page will load that automatically lists your room choices for
four nights, with the date range Monday, September 16 to Friday, September
20 (checking out on Friday.)
3.	If you wish to change the check-in or check-out dates of your
reservation, click on the "Edit Stay" link near the top of the page that
lists the date range of your reservation. Select your new check-in and
check-out dates using the Edit Stay field that appears immediately below
(once clicked, a calendar will appear where you need to select the date
range), and then click "Update" when done.
4.	Select your desired room type.
5.	A payment page will load. Enter your payment information and guest
information, and then hit "Book Reservation" when done.

call Maggie Boshra at 1-703-788-1609 who will be happy to assist you.
Alternatively, you may also call the Hilton reservation number at
1-800-HILTONS (toll-free number for U.S. callers), or 1-703-478-2900 for
International callers, and mention that you are booking a room for SIPNOC
2024. 

Birds of a Feather Sessions

We have scheduled dedicated BoF meeting timeslots during the evenings of
Tuesday, September 17th and Weds, September 18th.

BoFs will be held during the Welcome Reception and Dinner, and Beer and Gear
Networking Reception and Dinner, and will be in close proximity to the food
and drink being served to allow you to go back and forth for refills and
second (or third) servings!

These BoFs are intended to be informal, breakout-type meetings designed to
give folks an opportunity to gather and discuss any number of topics of
interest suggested by YOU!

Please feel free to send a message to this list proposing a BoF topic, and
if there is enough support from the SIPNOC community, we will assign a
meeting space and time for it!
