NORTH ANDOVER, MA (February 19, 2015) - The SIP Forum <http://www.sipforum.org/> announced today that it has opened registration and the official Call for Presentations <http://www.sipforum.org/content/view/374/275/> for the fifth annual SIP Network Operators Conference <http://www.sipnoc.org/> (SIPNOC 2015), being held at the Hilton Washington Dulles Hotel in Herndon, VA, June 23 -25, 2015.

A three-day educational conference focusing on the challenges and opportunities related to the deployment of SIP-based carrier services globally, SIPNOC 2015 is a unique, network operator-centric event. Organizers invite companies, executives and industry insiders to propose presentations highlighting the use of session initiation protocol (SIP) in service provider environments. Operators are encouraged to present SIP-related success stories, deployment issues and concerns in their networks, while equipment vendors and other industry stakeholders are invited to work with operators to present real-world deployment experiences.

The SIPNOC conferences attract leading technical and operations personnel from the global carrier community and have earned high praise from attendees for their educational, non-commercial and technical content that focuses on the real-world challenges operators face when deploying SIP services in global IP networks. SIPNOC 2015 attendees will include telecommunications providers, major backbone operators, interconnect and wholesale solution providers, ISPs, cable operators, wireless network operators as well as large enterprises deploying major SIP initiatives.

New for 2015: By popular demand, the SIP Forum has added a special, new workshop to the SIPNOC agenda. For this year's SIPNOC, the SIP Forum has teamed up with ECG <http://www.ecg.co/> to offer a special full day of specialized SIP training. This new SIP Training Day is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, 2015, and is designed to offer SIPNOC 2015 attendees relevant training on the SIP protocol, as well as provide insights and considerations related to a variety of technical implementations. Ultimately, the goal of this special training workshop is to help ensure that SIPNOC attendees get the most out of the technical presentations that follow.
