Title: Fighting Robocalls and Spoofing with SHAKEN & STIR

Speakers: Richard Shockey - Chairman of the Board of the SIP Forum

Sponsor: SIP Forum

Abstract:

We are all aware of the ongoing problems with robocalls and Caller ID
spoofing in the network. Last year the industry led Strike Force delivered
a report to the FCC on various efforts that are being undertaken to address
the issue. This webcast will specifically discuss the STIR/SHAKEN framework
developed by the joint ATIS/SIP Forum Task Force and its recommendations to
the FCC and other National Regulatory Authorities.

On Thursday, March 16th at 1PM ET, join the SIP Forum and USTelecom for a
webcast that will provide a comprehensive overview of how the STIR/ SHAKEN
framework and associated protocols will aid in the fight against CallerID
Spoofing and malicious robocalls .
