[SIPForum-discussion] Decline T.38 Fax calls before routing

Hello,

Can we decline just T.38 fax calls on soft switch or SBC before routing with 503?

Example:  Customer A is sending fax calls on G729 & G711 and is being terminated by Vendor B & Vendor C. Vendor B supports T.38 fax calls but Vendor C does not support T.38 fax calls but supports only G711 fax calls.

1. Can a soft switch like MVTS Pro or any other SBC decline fax calls with T.38 codec before routing to Vendor C for Customer A to re-route.

2. Can we convert codec from T.38 to G711 fax calls on the soft switch?
