[SIPForum-discussion] SIP timers for IMS registration

Hi all,

I want to know if the SIP timers in RFC 3261 are affected when one node sends a Diameter message.
Such as when the I-CSCF does a Diameter UAR to the HSS? 

It's been a long day. I might might have mixed up the two protocols. I just want some clarification.
