[SIPForum-discussion] When to stop media during call hold?

Hi All,

As all of us know, call hold works using the following SIP signalling.

STEP1: UE1  --- INVITE(sendonly) ---> UE2
STEP2: UE1 <--- 200 OK(recvonly) --- UE2
STEP3: UE1  --- ACK              ---> UE2

MT can stop media after
1. sending 200OK
2. receiving ACK.

Somebody please explain me which of the above two approaches is the best in
real time?
