" The source IP address is conveyed in the "received" parameter 
in the topmost Via header field value of the response. "

I have a doubt regarding "received" param. 


How a proxy forwarding a SIP message adds "received" param in Via header ? 



Does it(proxy) adds its own address or address from where it received the packet ?
