[SIPForum-discussion] Issue in sending ACK

Hi..
till the other party receives the ack voice path will not be established. ACK confirms the transaction complete although ACK is a separate transaction. But the entire thing is based upon the way the system has been designed. A equipment can be configured to establish a voice path without receiving the ACK. 
But in regular scenarios in any standard sip server or agent health waits for the ack to start the media path
