We've experienced this a couple of time on new releases which have IP FFE enabled by default. Try disabling FFE on the internal & external interfaces.

signaling trace will look same ..but to nail down please check the media IPS and media ports ..are they same...packeteziation periods are they identical....and obviously media IP reachability between the two end points ....will comein to picture..NAT devices..etc ....hope this helps
