Hi ,

As per RFC 3261 "The branch parameter value MUST be unique across space and time for
   all requests sent by the UA."

So as per my understanding it depends upon time interval  and context, whether to reuse BRANCH ID or not .

I guess that if Call-ID are different, so the Branch can be the same.

Scenarios:
1)
OPTIONS sip:user1 at Server_IP SIP/2.0
Via:SIP/2.0/UDP Client_IP:9080;branch=z9hG4bKABC
Call-ID: Call_ID1 at Client_IP:9080
From: <sip:user1 at Client_IP:9080>;tag=1000000-0-803298131-9080
To: <sip:user1 at Server_IP:5060>
CSeq: 1 OPTIONS
Content-Length: 0
Contact: <sip:user1 at Client_IP:9080>
Max-Forwards: 70

1) My question is can we use same branch parameter in both OPTIONS requests having different call ids or not?

-Call ids are different for both request.
-SIP URI is different for both call legs.
- To and from headers are different for both scenarios.
-Cseq are different in both cases.
