[SIPForum-discussion] Call Forward Unconditional How Proxy Knows that call needs to forward to a Gateway?

Michael: Just like in Model - View - Controller Communication in JAVA, the Proxy knows to forward to Gateway if it has limited resources or limited Control Logic or limited knowledge to process the call.

I have following doubts regarding this Service Example:

1)Alive is calling Bob,but call is forwarded to gateway,So how proxy came to know where i need to forward this request?
2)How proxy is re-writing the Request-URI to the gateway URI?
