For DTMF there would be a change in payload type, so this would still apply correct.

Well Garron,

This is situational. Marker bit can also be set to true when DTMF is started.Also let us assume during RTP flow there are flow of CNG packet flow.Marker bit will mark the start of real RTP packet once CNG stops.

I understand that Marker Bit in RTP when set to True indicates a New Event.

In case of RTPevent packets, my understanding is the Mark bit should be set to True only upon a detection of new DTMF.

It cant be set to True on the RTPevent packets for the same DTMF, is that right?
