Hi Santosh,

The caller and callee are in two different country ,and in caller side RTP is established but without hearing ringing .

So it’s possible that an equipement MSC don’t support this msg 180 ringing or the callee don’t send it at first.

Do you get my mean?

Walid

Are you indicating that the SBC is not forwarding the 180 Ringing or the callee is not sending a 180 Ringing and instead sending a 183 session in Progress. If the scenario is case 2. then it is possible for you to not recieve 180 ringing in cases where the call gets connected to an IVR before being connected to an actual agent.

Santosh.

Hello all,

I have the following problem :

- When testing output calls ,we can’t receive SIP message 180 ringing in the trace (wireshark),we have only 183 progress ?

- The call proceed like this operator x => SBC => operator y

Can anyone tell me what can be the reason?
