[SIPForum-discussion] SIP to ISUP mapping (re-title: Huawei SoftX3000 treatment of "a=silenceSupp:off")

Hi all,

I did some testing with Huawei SoftX3000 and sent a Invite with "a=silenceSupp:off - - - -" but everything is working fine.
In the 183 answer from SoftX audio port is set to usable port. I cannot verify that the call is treated as fax.

So maybe this is a configuration issue.

Yes there are ways, but these options are letting Huawei not to detect fax call,

I want to know the reference why Huawei is treating it as a FAX, do you know any RFC.
