You should be able to merge 2 diff .pcap file using Version 1.6.2 (SVN Rev
38931 from /trunk-1.6). I use it without any issue

Dear All,

 

Anybody havind idea how to merge .pcap (wireshark or ethreal captured file)
and .cap (snoop tool catptured file), I tried to merge the same but its
giving format error as both file having differnet extenion even after
changing extenion from cap to pcap its not merging. Let me know if any one
success in this case
