Hi Sunitha, 
 
This is the real problem I'm facing due to race in the network between
two re-INVITE (hold) received from both the 
one party to other. Basically PRACK is used to acknowledge the data sent
in 1XX reliably.

I believe you can probably try with PRACK messages..........

What could be the UA2's SIP response to a hold request when UA2 itself
trying put UA1 on hold 
& hold is in progress(some state in INVITE/200OK/ACK).
