Hello Albert,

 

I agree with the options selected by you. I think the 3rd one could be
INVITE request in case of calling entity does not receives 180 Response
and it is re-transmitting the INVITE request, when those INVITE will
reach to the called entity which is sending 180 response, the request
will not be rejected but the entity will again release the 180 response
in case of UDP mode. So , I believe INVITE should be the 3rd option to
PRACK and CANCEL.

I got this question in a exam, and its been driving me mad.

 

Question:"what are valid responses to 180 ringing" (Choose 3)

 

Options:PRACK / ACK / BYE /CANCEL /INVITE 

 

In my opinion there is only 2, PRACK and CANCEL
