AMR is a licensed codec so it can't be provided with Wireshark but a
plugin

interface exists to add your own codecs you'll have to do it yourself

though.

Hi all,

Ethereal tool bar -> Statistics -> VoipCall. then select stream which
you want to play ( can be upstream / downstream / both )and click on
play.
That's it. But codec being used has to be G711

Can any one tel me / guide me how to achieve same task if codec being
used is AMR?

Thanks,
Shweta

Hi all,

Does any one know how ethereal capture can be used to play AMR packet? I
know we can play G711 packets from ethereal capture but do not know how
to play AMR from wireshark/ethereal capture.

Thanks,
pinkuchotu
