[SIPForum-discussion] maxptime for media description

hello everyone,

I am puzzled about the relationship between this two attributions and the  
codec formats in a media description.

when we send an offer , we may give a codelist for one type of meida. but  
maxtime just have one. If the formats in the list have different ptime (ie  
EVRC is 20, G729 is 10) , what the meaning of mazptime?
