Subject: [SIPForum-discussion] Why the From and To headers are swapped when building SIP BYE to terminate the call?

Hi All,

Considering the scenario where the receiver end or called party is terminating the SIP call , why the From and To headers are swapped when building SIP BYE?
Is it because that session or stack wants to know the who exactly terminated the call? And might be useful in conference calls to know the source of termination.
Please share your thoughts on this.

Regards,
Ashok
