[SIPForum-discussion] Sigcomp & REGISTER refresh

Hi.

It's better to compress the refresh, especially if you use the dynamic
compression (using RFC5049), since in this case you will achieve better
compression for each further message which passed via the certain
compartment.

Anyway, the server/registrar which supports Sigcomp must be capable to
receive compressed and uncompressed messages on the same port and filter
them acc. to the bitmask.

Best regards,

Moshe .

Subject: [SIPForum-discussion] Sigcomp & REGISTER refresh

Hi

I have a doubt regarding refresh REGISTER request
I am sending a sigcomp compressed REGISTER request. Now when I refresh
my REGISTER request should the reREGISTER request be sigcomp compressed?

Thanks,
Ravi
