Hi,
I am building a security mechanism for SIP parser ( as a part of my
academics ). Can you help me selecting best tools for the testbed
setup? I am looking for.
* SIP Proxy - Can run and managed from console + free + Linux based +
(optionally with Remote management by web interface )
* SIP User Agents -
* * 1 windows based - Free+No inbuilt security + (optionally with source) and
* * 1 Linux based - free+No inbuilt securiy
* SIP Security Test Tool - Linux based + Free + Open source (e.g.
PROTOS, SIP Bomber)
* SIP Security solution - Can filter traffic + Regular expression
based rules + Transperent (eg. HLBR, L7 Filter.)
As far as H/W concern I have multiple x86 (P4) machines @ 2.67 GHz
with ~1GB RAM and Intel PRO 100 Mbps Ethernet connection; 2 Linksys
(Cisco) SR224 - 24 port switchs.
On operating system side, currently, I have Fedora 9, RHEL 5 and Windows XP Pro.
Please let me know your experience / suggestions for testbed setup and
SIP security.
