[SIPForum-discussion] Knowing a SIP phone status

Hi Everyone

Thank you all for your responses.

Intefaces like CSTA, TAPI are charged by PBX providers that is why i am
looking for a solution in SIP.

What i need is that my app receives the calls from PBX, puts them on hold,
checks SIP phone (extension) is free and transfer the call to the SIP phone
when free?

Is it possible using SIP? I have other solutions but I need to check with
you experts whether SIP offers something already? Something like changing
endpoints?
