The reason for wanting to REGISTER from different contact addresses is
you want to fork INVITE requests to each of the registered contacts
from a forking proxy server. This is useful for mobility and
redundancy scenarios.  When an INVITE comes into the proxy, it will
get all contacts from the registrar and forked the INVITE to all
registered contact addresses. You can pick up on any contact and the
other legs are CANCELed.
