Who said 300mSec is a perfect latency?

Perfect mean no latency...

 

As regard for latency - human hear can't realize a latency below 200mSec.

Up to 250mSec is tolerant, above this value you can understand that the
quality will drop (MOS, R-Factor, PSQM+ & PESQ will reach low score as the
latency is higher).

 

Of course the voice quality will be determine by a set of parameters such as
latency, jitter & Packet loss.

Hello All

 

I have a one question regarding the Latency in Voip call because

everyone is saying that 300 MS is ok for voip call. I just wants to

know that why only 300 MS of less than this it's ok for VOIP. is there

any particular reason for that. how can we analyze that this is the

perfect latency for VOIP CALL. I am confused about that please help me

out on this.
