[SIPForum-discussion] List Moderation Is Now In Effect

Dear SIP Forum Members,

In an effort to optimize the "signal-to-noise ratio" on this list, SIP Forum
management has decided to commence full-time moderation of all messages that
are sent to the list for distribution.

Please be aware that since messages will be held in a moderator queue pending
approval, there will, at times, be a modest delay in the sending of message to
the list. Please note that messages sent from overseas locations during
nighttime hours in the United States will be impacted the most, and will be
reviewed and approved upon the start of normal daytime business hours.

If you do not see your message distributed for a period of time in these
circumstances, please understand that your message will be distributed at the
earliest possible opportunity. 

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but we believe that
this will serve to improve the overall quality of content that is sent over
the list, as unsubscribe messages, inappropriate message content, and various
spam will be caught before they are sent out to everyone.
